With the Desktop View on your monitor, move your mouse pointer to the very bottom of
the screen until it changes into a double-headed arrow. Hold down the left mouse button
and drag it upward.
If you Task Bar was last seen at the top, left side or right side then move your mouse
pointer to that area.
Q2: How do I Put a Shortcut on the Desktop?
To put a shortcut on the Desktop
A Click the item, such as a file, program, folder, printer, or computer, that you want
to create a shortcut to.
B On the File menu, click Create Shortcut.
C Drag the shortcut icon onto the Desktop.
D Windows 98 users and above, simply right mouse click and select Send To Desktop as a
shortcut.
Q3: What and Where is the Desktop?
When you start Windows you will see on your monitor, a group of icons and in most cases at the bottom of the screen you will see the Task Bar. This is the Desktop.
