February 2002 Reader's E-mail questions

Q:    Alphabetize Outlook Express Address Book.

How do I get my addresses in alphabetical order I have tried??

A:    Alphabetize Outlook Express Address Book.

Open your Outlook Express Address Book.

Click on the Name of the column you want in order.

At the very top of each column there is a name, Nickname, Name etc. Click on any column you want to sort by. A second click will reverse the sort order.

Q:    Maximum file size and number of files?

Can I ask a new question that's not on your top 20 lists?  I'm trying to find out what's the maximum size file and the maximum number of files that can be created using Windows 95...and why?

A:    Maximum file size and number of files?

As far as I know there isn't any limitation to the number of files or the maximum file size.

The size of your hard drive is your only limitation.

In other words you can save as many files as you have free space left on your hard drive. Beware though; Windows needs at least 10 Meg of free space (30 Meg is better) to operate properly.

Q:    Copy Outlook Express Address Book

I have one other question:  How can I copy the Outlook Express Address Book to my CD-Writer?

A:    Copy Outlook Express Address Book

Open your Address Book

Select File

Select Export

Select Address Book (WAB)

then just follow the prompts.
