Question:          Netscape Folders

How to move Messages

Hi again, I recently installed Netscape 4.4, I have created several folders in which I want to store some of my email messages, but I am unable to transfer the messages into the folders.  I have gone into the help section, but I can't seem to get it to work.  Is there an easy way that you can tell me how to get my email into the folders?

Answer:            Netscape Folders

How to move Messages

Right mouse click on the message you want to move, from the popup Menu select Move and choose the folder you want. Or select the message you want to move and then click on Message on your Menu Bar and choose Move.

Question:          My Documents Toolbar on Desktop

I was away for a few days and when I got back this is what my desk top looks like when I sign on. I can move the Desk Top to the left but not enough to
cover the intruder. If you move the Desk Top to the right what you see is a menu of the My Documents folder. How can I get rid of it?

Answer:            My Documents Toolbar on Desktop

First try this. Right mouse click on an empty place on your Task Bar. This should bring up a little menu. Choose Toolbars and see if My Documents is
there and if so click it to de-select it.
If that doesn't work put your mouse pointer in the upper left hand corner of My Documents and hold down your left mouse button and drag it to the middle of your Desktop. It should change to a window which you can close by clicking on the X.
Ps. Nice touch sending a picture. That helps a lot.

Question:          Quick Shutdown Revisited

Dale, In the March issue of P.C. Communicator there is an article "Quick Shutdown Revisited". I have followed the instructions several times but when I click on the icon on the desktop I receive the following message:" RUNDLL X Error in user.exe. Missing entry:exewindows. Can you help me?

Answer:            Quick Shutdown Revisited

Here is the Tip as published on our web site at:
www.comphelp2000.com/win98tips.htm

SHUT DOWN WINDOWS 98 FAST!
When you shut down Windows 98, you have to go through several steps. We've discovered a way to shut down Windows 98 in one simple double-click. To implement this technique, launch the Create Shortcut wizard by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting the New/Shortcut command from the shortcut menu. Once the Create Shortcut wizard loads, type

c:\windows\rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindows
in the Command Line text box. (Make sure that there isn't a space between the comma and the exitwindows parameter, or the command won't work.) To continue, click Next. When the next page appears, type Shut Down Windows 98 NOW! in the Select a Name for the Shortcut text box, and click Finish. Now, when you're ready to shut down Windows 98, close all your applications as you normally would and then just double-click the new Shut Down Windows 98 NOW! icon.
